Ginger The Hair Fairy Salon Policies Thank you for choosing Ginger The Hair Fairy! These policies are in place to respect everyone’s time, ensure the highest quality of service, and create a luxury salon experience for every guest. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following policies. ⸻ 1. Deposits * All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. * Deposits will be applied toward your final balance. * Deposits are non-transferable to another client. * One courtesy reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice. After one reschedule, a new deposit is required. ⸻ 2. Cancellation Policy * Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. * Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. * No-call, no-show appointments will forfeit their deposit, be charged according to this policy, and will be permanently restricted from booking future appointments. ⸻ 3. Late Arrival Policy Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. * A 10-minute grace period is provided. * 11–15 minutes late: $20 Late Arrival Fee. * More than 15 minutes late: $35 Late Arrival Fee. * Appointments more than 15 minutes late may be shortened, modified, or canceled depending on the remaining time available. * If your appointment must be rescheduled due to lateness, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required. Habitual Lateness * 1st occurrence: $20 fee * 2nd occurrence: $35 fee * 3rd occurrence: Future appointments require 100% payment upfront. ⸻ 4. Service Change Policy Please book the service you intend to receive. Changing your service upon arrival affects scheduling for all clients. * Service changes are subject to availability. * A $35 Service Change Fee will be added. * Clients are also responsible for the price difference of the upgraded service. * If there isn’t enough time to complete the requested service, your appointment will be rescheduled and a new deposit will be required. ⸻ 5. Hair Preparation Policy Please arrive with: * Hair free of excessive oils, grease, and heavy product buildup. * Hair fully taken down unless a removal service has been booked. * Hair reasonably detangled. Failure to properly prepare your hair may result in additional fees or rescheduling. ⸻ 6. Detangling Fees Detangling is not included with most services. * Light Detangling (15–30 minutes): $25 * Moderate Detangling (30–60 minutes): $50 * Severe Detangling (60+ minutes): Starting at $75 ⸻ 7. Extension & Extra Product Fees Additional charges may apply for: * Extra-long hair * Extra-thick hair * Additional bundles * Additional color * Specialty products Pricing begins at $25 depending on the additional time and product required. ⸻ 8. Squeeze-In Appointments Need an appointment outside normal availability? Squeeze-in appointments begin at $50 and increase based on scheduling demands. ⸻ 9. After-Hours Appointments Appointments scheduled before business hours, after business hours, holidays, or on my scheduled day off begin at $75 in addition to the service price. ⸻ 10. Guests & Children To maintain a relaxing environment and limited studio space: * No extra guests unless they are being serviced. * Children who are not receiving a service should not attend appointments. ⸻ 11. Payment Policy Accepted payment methods: * Cash CASH CASH Any remaining balance is due before your appointment is completed. Returned payments or chargebacks will result in an immediate ban from future bookings until the balance has been paid. ⸻ 12. Refund Policy Due to the nature of beauty services, all services are final. Refunds are not offered. If you experience an issue with your service, please contact me within 72 hours. Reasonable adjustments may be made at my discretion. ⸻ 13. Photography Policy Photos and videos may be taken before, during, or after your appointment for portfolio, educational, and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify me before your appointment begins. ⸻ 14. Respect Policy Mutual respect is expected at all times. Harassment, abusive language, threatening behavior, or repeated policy violations may result in your appointment being canceled immediately and permanent refusal of future services.
